I don't think it's got anything to do with disagreement, we're all for that, but Max was a rude, self-satisfied and argumentative chap whose knowledge may have been quite extensive but was overwhelmed by his rudeness. Good riddance - well done Mods

OK, so it wasn't just what was said in this thread that got Max banned, still no excuse for forum members to throw their toys.

Looking back through the posts ,I see Max has some history.

Its sad to see my old mainland mate Spr Jock was banned also. He had a lot to offer ,certainly in regards to a good knowledge of the Long Range desert group and Long Range patrol units.

I was surprised to see Jock banned too, although I don't know Jim. Does he have history too, didn't think his posts were that bad!

http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ad.php?t=29763 it was this thread that did it. He was really pushing his luck with Bill, as you can see Bill has edited Spr Jock's posts.

Phil.

It was tone too. He was pretty rude to Bill, he has removed comments that were directed at him personally.

I think there is not too much more to add or say about the Slouch Hat Phil. For me the only question mark hangs over the use of the RNZAF Cap Badge. But I am sure it has always been that way. I am now selling it as it really is not my main focus of interest. I have four others, not RNZAF or RAAF, that I may post another time and probably far less controversial Regards, Clive.
