Default Another arty cloth badge

We had an interesting thread last week which featured variations of arty badges, but not this one. I have always assumed that the fairly common badges of this general design which included light coloured stitching were WW2 pattern. I don't have one of these to attach for comparison.
Is it correct that this much plainer one is WW1?

Default

No.

One of hundreds of variations by manufacture.

Nothing about that badge says to me WW1.

However could be any time from 1930;s to 1970's.

regards
