The Boys Home - Regents Park

Hi, a well made badge, made of Bronze but can’t quite find anything on it?

“THE BOYS HOME” - “REGENTS PARK”

Now is this a Cap badge or a Collar, (no way am I going to mess with these lugs), haven’t as yet given it a clean yet, but will do in soapy water and toothbrush.

If anyone has information on it I would love to hear it many thanks in advance Billy

The institution was certified a "Home for young workmen" on 3/01/1883.

Newspaper article from December 1866

The Boys' Home Certified Industrial School for Destitute.

Former pupils are now serving in the Army , the Royal Navy and Merchant marine , in domestic service at home as well as in Australia , Canada and South Africa and many are engaged in various trades and manufacturers.
