Thanks to all for the comments, the badge is smaller than current Rising Sun but bigger than a collar. Mum gave it to me with one of Uncle Keiths medals, he had two and she put one in with his ashes, he was a good bloke, sadly missed

INNES, KEITH LYELL Australian Army NX193305 (N266606) Before the war he was a hospital wardsman Then enlisted as Sapper in the 2/1 AUSTRALIAN MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY Later was transferred to 2/4 Aust General Hospital in Borneo Returned home in 1946 |
