Default The Royal Scots 5th Vol Battalion

Hello people,
This was amongst a batch of badges I bought recently that include many Victorian/Edwardian period pieces. I think, or rather I am hopeful that this is the genuine article. However, there seems to be a lack of this particular badge here on the forum with which to compare it against. The badge is in an uncleaned filthy condition, as are some of the other badges, and it has a light covering of verdigris. I would like to throw it open to the forum members for opinions please. Fingers crossed !
Regards, James.

An old fake sadly.

I did a small piece about them in this thread: https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...6&postcount=18

What I regard as three genuine badges below.

Ahh, devastated Luke, already depressed with it being January, looking for rope now. Thought it had a chance, but as usual thanks for the great analysis and feedback.
Regards, Jim.

Luke, is the third one in your post of genuine badges, without the void, a pipers badge?
