Royal Canadian Dragoons, with slider ???
Someone may have already alluded to a RCD badge, either of war or post-war period, with a slider and it looks like it did not have any loops/lugs. As for myself, I have never seen one. Looks legit.From E**Y.

Interesting badge. It is unusual to find this badge with this type of slider fastener. There are some later badges, circa 1990's with sliders, but they are completely different than this badge. I agree that it looks completely legitimate.

I had one of these that came from an actual "basement" find...
Big lot of badges... WW1 & WW2. Since I already had one with lugs... I sold the one with a slider. It did surprisingly well. 36$ cad (and now that I check my old invoices... it's that same badge!!!!) Oh! He's selling it back! Oh well.... Sorry I don't have a pic of the back. |
