SAS Sweetheart, Tie-Pin and Lapel badge
Just sharing some rather nice - even though the enamel on the sweetheart
brooch is damaged - SAS items that belonged to someone who was in the Scots Guards. The SW Brooch is 9ct - but as mentioned - the "Dares" is damaged. The lapel badge has the number 1207. The tie-pin is silver marked. The workmanship in the brooch is outstanding - especially at the rear where a piece of gold wire has been very nicely fitted. If anyone is interested in seeing this, let me know and I'll take a picture of the rear. Research is "on-going" - as they say. Ref the rear. Have done it anyway - some of you may appreciate why.
