Helmet Plates, genuine or not ?
Before I sell the following infantry back plates on the forum, I want to be confident they are genuine and would value members input.

And lastly, not a plate, but the removable centre number for the 1878 pattern plate, which I know have been copied, but is this one genuine ?

Hi, I feel 97 is a copy, and all bar plate five are too. Plate five looks like it could be right. But these days a lot of collectors have copies of the back plate, myself included.

Can you elaborate as to why the plates are repros? I can see the lugs on 2 & 3 don't look right but not sure about the rest.
Thanks, cheers, Alex |
