Default Union Airways

Buttons are not always easy to identify, so when I acquired a gilt button with an aeroplane design, I didnt have any clue as to who wore it other than the obvious conclusion that it must have been for an airline. But which one ?
Yesterday I was browsing through a pictorial history which detailed the history of flight in South Africa and came across a collection of Union Airways memoribilia , and there was my button ! All I need now is all the wings , bullion badges etc - but at least it's a start.
Union Airways was a forerunner of SA Airways.
