Default WAR CORRESPONDENTS bze-enamel

I have come across this badge on our favourite selling site.

WAR CORRESPONDENT WW1 in bronze with enamel letter C
I have seen a cloth version but not this one. Is it real or fantasy ??

Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry,

It is real but I am sure its NOT anything to do with a War Correspondant.

The Enamel C is more likely for Captain, of a school team or the like.

regards

Here's an example of the 1918 pattern war correspondents cap badge.
