Default Yellow non substantive badges

Hi,
Does anyone have any information on yellow trade badges?
These two visual signalling badges are from the estate of a hostilities only rating. So not post war.
Are they an economy version of the gold badges? one is hand stitched and the other is machine embroidered.
Thanks
Barry

Default Yellow non-substative badges

Hi Barry

Yes, yellow thread badges were just the wartime economy version of gold badges.
