Would appreciate it if any of our cloth insignia experts can give the green light or not on this 'patch' (one of a pair).

They are normaly on stiff cloth, the back looks a bit different to my other Malta flashes, Kev

Thanks for input.
I said stiff canvas for wont of a better material. May in fact be stiff cloth. I know that as well as printed versions there are also silk woven types. Could it possibly be that printed versions are ORs or even economy issue? GTB |

Cards like these were produced to be sent to firms asked to manufacture the badge to ensure they complied with the original design.
They are fascinating sources as many of them are annotated on the reverse with the names of manufacturers and the dates the card was supplied to them. Jon |
