Default Queen's Royal Gurkha Signals

Here is the latest addition to my Signals badge collection. It looks a lot like Chris's, but then Chris is my Guru.

Cheers Phil.

Very nice, except there is no "Royal" in the title, just Queen's Gurkha Signals.

Default Queens Gurkha Signals

Dear Phil.

The Gurkha Signals display is brilliant. I really like the way you have mounted this set and complete with the Gurkha Signals colours.

Well done mate.

Best wishes

Chris

Thanks Chris, yes I am happy with it, I have a Piper's cross belt to mount next, space is tight, I might have to build a new room on the house.

Phil.

Default Queens Gurkha Signals

Dear Phil.

Start building that extra room.

Here are three sets of Signals related Pipers Accoutrements from 1968 to 1996 all of the Army Apprentice College Harrogate.

They are mounted on the Government Tartan (Black Watch Tartan) so hard to see on the photo I have just taken as I have only just put them up in the hall for display. They are not all on my web site yet.

Just thought I would let you know that after the Royal Signals Pipers Cross belt that you are just about to mount and the Gurkha Signals Pipe Band showing three different Plaid Brooches there are these three from Harrogate.

Make sure the room if big enough Phil.

Sorry the photo is a little dark but the sun is actually shinning here in Jersey and only took a quick photo.

Enjoy Phil and keep up the brilliant work.

Best wishes

Chris

Thanks very much Chris, your display looks really good.
I am sure that I wont get anywhere near the plaid brooches that you have, I look for plaid brooches almost every day but I cannot seem to find any Signals related brooches.

I am a member of the Royal Australian Signals Association (Tasmania Branch), they publish a quarterly newsletter ("Signal News"). I am going to contact them to see if they will include pictures of some of my collection in the newsletter, I am sure it will be of interest to the readers.

Thanks again for the kind words Chris.

Phil.
