Default Black Watch 'cheese-cutter' x2..!

Hi Gents,

It has been a good week for me as far as Black Watch badges go. As well as the 5th VB HLI badge (see other thread) that came in, it was accompanied by a lovely so called 'cheese-cutter' hat badge.

I already have a nice example, so why two? Well this latest example has a nice Anderson maker/retailers plate on the back.

Some pics of both to share for your enjoyment and interest. My newest example is shown on the left. Love these little badges

Cheerio,

Roy

Default Anderson badges

Beware of oversized Anderson tablets. The fakers have abused them

Lovely badges, but please enlighten me, what does the term 'cheese-cutter' imply?
