Default 160th Battalion

My Holy Grail would be a cloth shoulder title to the 160th Battalion, CEF. It is British-made, a red background with a white "160". Have seen a few but none for sale. Hope springs eternal!
Moe.

I have seen & held my Holy Grail, doubt I'll ever get to own it though, it's an Officers complete Helmet with plume, still in it's box, with the Officers name on a small plaque - for the Herts Light Horse, most people have never even heard of them !!!! That's why I have to keep persevering with the Lotto !!
Dream on Wilf, Dream on !!!!!!!!

Holy Grails I have to many and in Many catagoeries

One would be to Fined Sir Frederick Fisher VC Black Watch 13th Batt.

There's Two Canadian Airborne Wings that the Majority have no Clue they exist. Not even the Airborne Regiment Museum
have them displayed. Individuals I talk to on my Visit had no clue concerning these lost Canadian Jump Wings.
More Scarce and rare then The Plastic Second World War Airborne Regiment Cap Badge or 1st CDN SSF Cross Arrow Badge.

Cool Holy Grail Trail

The Holy Grail for me would be my My Father's Royal Engineer GviR other Ranks cap badge, it had a small reddish discolouration to the right of the motto scroll.

I lost or exchanged it some thirty five years ago. I am interested in either buying or exchanging for it, but it must be the correct one, PM me if you think you have this badge.

Hi,

for my side, I have had a succession of 'Saint Graal' depending on my success in research and acquisitions ...

The most important was indeed the 'mother' of all navy badges !
you recognised the Royal Navy of Queen Victoria epoch - badge created in 1856.

Presently, I own a superb victorian navy badge - 1870/1891 pattern -
which is, with no doubt, one of my masterpieces !

but after this acquisition, I had to pass to a new Graal !!!

to be continued .........

I have to say it would be a 2nd VB East Surrey helmet complete - if it happened to have the blackened brass plate with w/m centre for NCO's like my Great-grandad had then all the better!!!!

Hi All,

My Holy Grail would be a Second World War Officers Coloured Field Service Cap with the Embroidered Bullion Cap Badge for Le Regiment de la Chaudiere. It is rumoured that only 12 of the Bullion Cap Badges were produced.

Anytime I come across Chaudiere items I always get that surge and rush of excitement...much like my 9 new old son when he gets a new Wii Game-lol. So for a plug...anyone who has Chaudiere items they may want to part with let me know and maybe we can swing a deal.

The attached picture was accessed from Clive Law's website:

Best,
Mike Kennelly

This is one of my holy grails that I am looking for. Unfortunately I don't have a colour picture but the Para Wing is mess dress size.

Colours are gold bullion on blue background and I believe possibly English made.

If anyone has any information on this wing it would be appreciated. Also looking to buy one for my collection.
