Hi all

A pair of 3rd Hussars HM long horse collars still elude me . I live in hope of adding these to my 3rd Hussar collection

Tough call as there’s a few scarcer badges I need that’d ‘complete’ sets/themes for me which would be satisfying, but, a White Metal 2-dot Paddington Rifles probably comes top.

A few months ago I spied one in a frame and my heart leap, sadly however it turned out to be an old advert and the seller claimed not to be able to contact the buyer.

Of course I wouldn’t say no to a nice double scroll Nelly or LRDG either !!!

For me, cap or fsc badges for the 3rd VB Royal West Kent or 2nd VB Buffs.

If only I knew what they both looked like.

At the moment I am desperate for a silver officer badge of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.

I found a holly grail yesterday.

On the 29th July 2011 I scanned this Regimental Crest to add to my Devonshire Regiment Album here on this forum, a while later when I found a similar later 5th Battalion version I realised I had lost it, it wasn't anywhere to be found, since then I have actively been looking for a replacement with no luck. Them a few weeks ago I bought a new printer to replace my old one which had pretty much died, and there in the bottom of the cupboard covered in dust underneath was my lost crest. I think what happened was after I scanned it I forgot to remove it from the scanner on top of the desk, later I opened the scanner to scan something else it blew away and eventually made its way down through a hole in desk for computer wires, past one shelf and the printer right to the bottom.

I am thrilled to have it back.

Rob

Many thanks Mike for the heads up. She has one that I am after but at
UKP 200.00 I will keep looking. It is a hobby not an investment for me.
Thanks again.
