Question , Do WW1 Jewish chaplain badges with sliders exist ?
...sometime ago I purchased a small WW1 Jewish Chaplains lugged cap badge ,via Bosleys.
I just wondered if a Jewish chaplain slider type is also known to exist ?? Thanks steve |

Chaplains were officers and as such wouldnt have had badges with sliders.
Loops or blades are found. regards

I cannot recall the exact number of Jewish chaplains in WW1 but somewhere I seem to recall the figure 12 from IWM archive searches, but I also seem to recall they were Honorary, how many cap badges is it likely there were officially issued?
