Default Fincastles's Horse Officer's Badge
This badge is a recent acquisition. Is it an officer's cap or collar badge? If it is a cap badge to what sort of head gear would it belong? Not seen another on the net.

Never seen one like this, so I suspect it is an officer's headdress badge, probably worn on a slouch hat. The badges were quite small and I don't know if they wore collars. Nice find!
