Excuse me Terry, the men and women who play cricket do NOT wear an eff*** great mit to catch the ball!………… watch a game or two tonight. There’s some great games coming out of India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Some against touring teams both male and female from Britain, Australia, West Indies and New Zealand. Best regards, D.J.

Hi DJ, I know they don't wear mitts in playing cricket, but have never really understood or looked into the game. I had a nice cricket ball at one time, but haven't seen it for awhile and wonder if it might have gotten lost in one of our many moves.

I also know you do not wear any pads in rugby, which just amazes me!

But, I know both these and even soccer/football are tremendously popular over there and the latter world wide. In fact we have a local professional soccer team and they are building a new stadium here for them.

A little update here. The very kind lady who was helping me obtain some badges from the Royal Hospital School has wowed me yet again. This arrived today and I am blown away by it. This tally is worn I believe by their band members on the traditional sailor cap.
