Sorry for not getting involved in this thread earlier but pressures elsewhere meant I couldn't get to my pictures although I had read it. The first thing which stuck me was the non-voided loops to the laurels although even on copies they have been fretted out. The slider is the right length but as Andy says it fixed lower down than normal, whether on not that is significant is another matter as they may have had more than one person fixing them on. Neverthless, for an expensive badge as this one is, then I'd err on the side of caution and wait for a better one.

Attached mine also for the record.

Default Tower Hamlet Rifles Good or Dud

Hi Guys
I have just picked up this Tower Hamlet Rifles and have looked at the posts on the forum and I think it's a good one as it has a long slider, the detail is crisp and the ribbon above the Prince Consorts Own is voided but would welcome opinions, it cost me £8 and wasn't from a Militaria dealer just a general antique dealer who had it in a clearance. I hope someone out there can help clarify if it's a good one.

Thanks

Rob
