Welsh and Welch badges
I have been rationalizing the collection of badges my father gave me. I wish to keep the Welsh Regiment because my dear grandfather fought in Gallipoli and Palestine with the 4the Welsh. Could anyone comment on these badges in terms of authenticity and era please. Your contributions would be valued. Apologies if pictures are oriented poorly, I don't really know why this randomly happens with my phone.

I think phones like iPhones handle images differently to PCs hence why they sometimes are sideways when uploaded here.

Nice badges, the last welch which you don't show the back of is a copy and of the later design, the others look fine though one has an unusual reverse. All the collars look good, love the flat back osd example.
One of the collars is not welsh regiment, the one with no scroll. The cutdown cap badge is something that is seen, I have one but why is not known to me.

Cut down Welsh badge
Thank you. I could only show 15 images so will put a few others up today. I believe the cut down cap badge was actually my grandfather's. He was in the territorials in 1914 when war broke out. He was sent for training and didn't return home to Pembroke until 1919. Do you know anything about the 'red dragon leads' motto?

Just realised someone has explained this in another post.
