Parachute wing original?
Gentlemen,
Any thoughts on this parachute qualification wing? Original or reproduction? Thanks in advance for any comments. Bas |

Hi Bas,
That is one ugly fat little wing! It is so unusual and unlike other wings, but I like the construction so believe it may be a locally made original. Do you have any history behind this wing? Paul |

Thanks for the feedback!
I got some more info. It came together with this one, from a legacy, in the Netherlands. That's all I could find out. The backside of this one looks like it's been worn in the East Indies. It has the herringbone pattern fabric and a sewed on safety pin. Last edited by Boes92; 03-11-20 at 12:21 PM. |

Hi Bas,
This wing looks like a post WW2 standard issue wing that has had a safety pin attached for easy removal in tropical conditions. Paul |
