Airborne Canada
Dear all,
cap badge and Para wing I have little knowledge on Canadian items. Badge I believe post war question is it an issued piece if so what period the wing again when worn and is it correct. Many thanks in advance these may be for exchange in the future as not in my collecting area. Regards Stephen |

Hi Stephen. The badges are both post unification. (1968). The cap badge is for the Canadian Airborne Regiment which existed 1968-1995. Several minor variations of the cap badge were made, and this one appears to be an earlier issue.
The parachute qualification wing is post 1968 unification. Red maple leaf indicate a soldier having the qualification, silver was an soldier in an operational parachute role. Similar wings are worn today.
