Default Buckinghamshire and Leeds Rifles.

Gents,
I am not sure about any of these. Would anybody be kind enough to give an opinion to help me out.
Regards,
Jim

I think the Kings Crown Bucks Bn. badge is good as I once owned a Home Guard greatcoat and FS cap with that badge- bought at a carboot in Slough which in the war was Bucks. Regards, Paul.

I think the Leeds Rifles is no good. Good ones don't have a void under the crown or have strengthening to the rear. Regards, Paul.

Thanks again Paul, I suspected it was dodgy. There are some pictures up in the gallery under this badge that show a void under the crown, yet nobody has commented to shoot them down as fakes. This can be confusing to relatively green collectors like me, as like myself I am sure there are many who use the gallery as a base to check their badges against that of the more experienced collectors. However, thanks again for the information, much appreciated.
Regards, Jim.

I remember info. about dots regards the PWO with this badge but with a quick search have not found the thread. It may only be the 7th with void under crown that is good with a strengthening wire to the reverse. I am confident with 7th and 8th slider versions. I would look at the orb on the crown as I feel good ones have largish square orbs. Examples from a members Territorial album. https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ictureid=79768

Further- found mention of dots. https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...t=leeds+rifles
