Somerset Light Infantry Green Beret Dated 1950, With Anod. Al Collar Badge.

A 1950 dated Supak Manufacturing Co Ltd beret with leather band and cloth badge slider pocket, and bearing a Somerset Light Infantry collar badge, presumably in lieu of the beret badge.

And now I've posted the thread and look at its heading I see that auto correct prefers Some rest to Somerset and is content with me misspelling badge.
