Sorry if this is in wrong section...I have this theater made? KDG badge with this mark on slider..ideas please..

I thought the KDG never actually adopted the 'official' GM cap badge, but abandoned it almost straight away for one in WM. So what's the significance of an Indian made badge with an apparent 1943 date?

Quite a few W/M badges were reproduced in G/M in India.
