Default SA Red Cross V.A.D. Help

Hello, Does anyone have an idea of the period this shoulder badge date to? Sorry about the image quality I haven't actually received the badge yet and am using sellers image. I will post better images, front and rear, when it arrives.

Hi,
Authentic and used by VAD nurses in South Africa from early 1940's through to 1980's. Depending on the rear may assist in narrowing down those dates.

Hi,
I would say it is an early one. 1940's through 1950's

These would have been worn on a red shoulder board with section numbers in between the top and lower arcs of the title.
