Worn mid 1920''s - c.1950 when replaced by anodised, assuming it's a brass O/R's button. (If it's Officers gilt then 1902- c.1952).

Maybe not quite so simple though, one was on e-bay a few days ago as "Lincolnshire Regt"

Yep..I found a few described as Gloucester Reg..but I knew it was not that. I tried all the other 'shire regiments !!
