Default Unidentified Air Traffic Control patch

I have just acquired this patch. Although not certain, I think it may be from the Joint Air Traffic Control School (RAF & RN) based at RAF Shawbury.

If anybody can give a positive identity I would very much appreciate it.

Regards

Default RAF

If that's the one off e**y, I was the under bidder. I only bid because I didn't recognise it, and I enjoy a challenge.

Default Unidentified ATC Patch

Thanks for submitting the image of this same patch.

It is annotated as a Tactical ATC emblem which confirms its ATC function.

It still remains a mystery as to who actually used it or still uses it.

This patch is Air traffic Control or air traffic management as I believe they like to be called and is worn on MTP as shown in the first picture.
I'm pretty sure that Tactical ATC (Tac ATC), the deployable arm of ATM homed at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, wear a similar patch but also including a sword crossed with a lightning bolt in the design. I think that both patches are still current.

Default TacATC

Craig,
TacATC are based at Brize Norton. They were part of TCW until they moved to Leeming. TacATC remained at Brize as there was no point moving them due to the AT fleet relocating to Brize from Lyneham.
I served two tours on TacATC as a comms operator, and can say that they were the best tours I had in the RAF!

Hi!
Brize - Which is what it says on the first page I googled! I stand corrected - bowing to your 1st hand experience .
Wonder where I got Linton from?
