Manitoba Volunteer Reserve

Here is one that may be new to some of you. It's an armband to the Manitoba Volunteer reserve, a local Militia unit out there,there was a number of different ones some with a type of disc or button and I believe they denoted rank. I've seen some with one,two & three discs but the one in my collection has none, it was a gift to me so I'm not complaining, It's the only thing I have for that unit except a small cloth arm badge which I will include here if I can find it. The Info on the MVR I'd better leave to Bill A if he is so inclined because I don't lnow the heck of a lot about them other than what they did(local protective duty) I have always favoured the low man on the totem pole in my collecting which is why I always tried to get an OR's badge rather than officers so I was glad to get this armband with no discs. I've included a picture of an armband with 3 discs , enjoy. Ray

The one in my collection is identical to yours, I also have the cap badge.
