Default A few unknown buttons

Hi
Here are a few buttons which I need to id any ideas .
Also dose anyone know a good reference book on this subject .

Hi
No.1 is French Infantry, No.8 MAY be Somerset Light Infantry, No.10 is London Transport, No.12 is Grenadier Guards, No.13 MAY be Royal Scots Fusiliers.

Buttons by Gwen Squire is a useful book (now out of print)

No.17 is AVC from the look of it.

3 is Royal Gloucester Hussars
8 is Ox & Bucks Light Infantry
10 is British Rail
11 is Royal Army Veterinary Corps
12 is Grenadier Guards (Geo V or Geo VI)
14 is Irish Guards

Hope that helps a little

15 is the 13th Battalion County of London Regiment (Kensington).

I don't know what No.10 is, but it is certainly not British Rail, which would have been a "double arrow" symbol, and it is not British Railways, which would normally have been a wheel, although I think some grades sported lion rampant buttons.
