Default Royal Hampshires

Hi Gents,

Posting two Royal Hampshires for your opinions, one KC and the other QC, which appears to have been blackened.

Thanks

Kevin

Hants wore the k/c badge up to 1958 and then the Wessex Bde in gold a/a. they then wore the Q./C Hants badge in a/a. I don't believe a sealed pattern q/m metal badge exists. Unlike other regts the Hants TA did not wear the pre-58 designs in between 1958-68.

The metal ones were made for private whilst pre 1992 and the PWRR formation.

Alan,

Thank you, as always very informative, it clears up why I could not find the Hants metal Q/C in Kipling and King.

Best wishes

Kevin
