It is absolutely criminal to treat a badge like that.

Hi Paul

V nice Old Gaunt I bought another one the DBY... should arrive in the post tomorrow. Same vintage. Note the inside of the skull.... you will see two little braise flecks on either side.... its where they clamped the Motto to hold it still for braising the loops/slider at a guess.


I got this one a couple of days ago (late Gaunt strike pre WW2) .... you can see the two little braise flecks it this one as well.

Yup Should arrive tomorrow..... looking forward to giving it a clean. Nice sharp detail in this one.... it will look good.
