Question RFC cap badge

I have a spare RFC cap badge which I am putting up for members inspection as I will be selling this in the classifieds if deemed to be original, it is slightly different to the one I have, so comments are welcome.

Default RFC cap badge

Well, 74 members have cast their eyes on this badge without any comments, so off to the classifieds.

I thought that when the top of the 'F' goes into the crown it was a sign of a restrike. I think this is a dud.

Perhaps not the best example, but, I do not think, from the photographs it is in anyway spurious.
