Default ATS with Narrowing Slider

I am considering an ATS cap badge that I don't have, but am not sure if it's good or not. I am not able to share a picture unless I get it. What has me stymied is the slider. It's very long and has a marked and clearly visible taper to it ending in a rounded end. There is no maker mark visible.

Is this type of slider characteristic of a specific manufacturer, or maybe a badge for a sun helmet, etc.?

Thanks,

Terry

Terry, Can't really answer your question without seeing the slider etc.

Terry,

It might possibly be a ‘Morrison’ badge with tapered slider. Take a look at this old thread at posts 1 and 2 for information and comparison pictures

Tim, Yep, that looks like it. So am assuming then that it's a fake. If I can get it cheap enough would still not mind adding it, just because it's different, but would mark it as fake for futures.

Thanks for the help, an d sorry I wasn't able to share a photo. If I do get it, I'll come back and share a pic.

Terry
