"Regimental Sleeve Links, Pins, Broaches Etc"
Hi Chaps,
As most of you know one of my main areas of studies is anything related to Wilkinson (commonly known as 'Wilkinson Sword'). I was very fortunate enough recently to acquire a hard-bound post 1910 full catalogue. I have had various scans of sections before this but it is wonderful to get a 'full' catalogue, detailing all the products that they made or supplied. One particular page that caught my eye was titles 'Regimental Sleeve Links, Pins, Broaches etc' (see attached photo). A selection of offering are featured with the comments "Suitable For Presentation, Prices, Gifts Etc' and 'Sketches Of Any Regiment Send On Application'. It is highly unlikely Wilkinson manufactured such items themselves and such items were almost certainly procured from reputable makes and retailed through Wilkinson. However it is the first such documented evidence I have seen of Wilkinson supplying these items, so wanted to share this information with the forum members. Cheerio, Roy.
