Found a 1927's photo of a Canadian General...
Is it possible to find out his name?

It's hard to read the name because of the glare. Does it look like it might be Eaton's?

on the back: Eatons Toronto 1927. The T. Eaton Company Limited, later known as Eaton's and then Eaton, was a Canadian department store chain.

Some questions. The image may or may not be 1927. The Maj.-Gen. wears a formation patch which were not commonly worn post FWW. There were five divisions in the CEF, which narrows down the possibilities considerably.
It may be Maj.- Gen. L. J. Lipsett.
