Some sad news to report to the many who knew Rod Flood of Minden Militaria. Rod passed away earlier today.

So sorry to hear this - he was always the first dealer I went to at Yate - lovely guy and nice to do business with - I understand that his wife who used to accompany him passed a few years ago - my condolences to his family and friends. Tim

Very sad to hear Rod has passed away, great bloke, as a young collector always gave me tips and advice.

Sad news sorry to hear this I have known Rod for many years even before he was a dealer I used to take him to Wallis and Wallis for items for his Hampshire collection He knew to which regiment that I collected to and when he was a dealer never bid against me even if the item was very cheap He was always happy to chat and help with identification of items-before internet days

That is sad news. Like others in the previous posts I learnt a lot from Rod and always found him extremely helpful & honourable. If anyone is in contact with his family please pass along my most sincere condolences.
