Paul
Have you ever seen a ‘silver’ extruded slider?
I think e badge is ok, but I am not sure of the slider.

Try taking your photo's on a darker background as the white is interfering within the exposure of the badges.

Is the star a dirty silver colour, the circle and crown dirty brass and is there a wavy joint line where the round bit meets it on the side.

Magpie
The entire badge is brass colored, I will work on my background, and I think a feature on my camera performs an automatic lighting which washes out the badge. I will improve. Where the circle joins the star it does look wavy.
Paul my badge looks very much like yours in the attached thread. The primary difference is yours is blackened while mine is brass. From your thread I guess that the ‘silver’ slider is a good feature.
My thanks
Mike

Magpie
Is the ‘wavey’ line a good sign?
Thank you
Mike
