I much prefer the "new metal" badges to the a.a., although I collect both. The Yorkshire and Lancaster's are probably my two favourites, along with the PWRR. They seem much more durable and better made. Too bad they had to amalgamate so many regiments before producing badges like that.

Tony - thanks for sharing this, some great badges there.

One thing that has puzzled me previously - I too have an RCT NM Firmin marked badge. The question is - WHY!!??
