6th DOCRCH
Here is an unusal 6th Duke of Connaught's Royal Canadian Hussars capbadge, it is flat backed and is a bronze colour. Any of the capbadges I have seen are stamped and are silver in colour.

The metal colour for this regiment is white metal (silver coloured), officers in frosted silver or tarnished silver (pewter colour) for Service Dress.

From the looks of it, the badge may be one that has lost its finish or an unfinished officer's badge.
