I have only seen one SAAF Brevet with a Kings crown on it, and that is the one that is in found in Owens book. I got it recently and at a small fortune as well, its a nice addition to my official SAAF WW2 Brevet collection. There were a couple of "field made brevets" worn by SAAF personnel, out of the RAF Observer brevet, but none that I have seen personally.
I am not sure about the featured brevet, maybe someone else can help. There is a SAAF Badge group on Face Book and there are a few knowledgeable guys on there, that might be able to help.
