How Badged?
Could someone please tell me if the 16th (Service) Battalion, The King's Royal Rifle Corps (Church Lads' Brigade) - 'The Churchmen's Battalion', was badged during the Great War, as KRRC, CLB, or other?
My understanding is that this unit was made up of former members of the CLB, so am thinking it was perhaps not CLB proper (badge-wise). Can anyone please enlighten me? With thanks, JT Last edited by Jelly Terror; 07-04-17 at 03:18 PM. |

The standard KRRC.
The cadets badge was designed for the cadet bn in 1917 in recognition of the losses of the 16th Bn the previous year. Cox's book is an error. |
