Default WW1 officers collars

hi all
a couple of my new officers collars
rissing suns are J R Gaunt London Gilt, i have the hat badge to match
the others are officers enameled collars of the australian engineers. not sure what period but im thinking pre WW2. officers collars to go with the ORs i have.
these collars not listed in Cossum. any help to date appreciated
cheers
both sets belonged to a Lt. Col WW1 and finished up a Brigadier.

Brad
The RAE badges are not listed in JCs Book because the have always been considered Association badged
The same badge can also be found with Buttonhole FB itting
Had the same Talk with DW when he picked one up a couple months back

interesting if they are association badges?
i dont know? thats why i asked
but why would the association make collar badges and ORs and Officers versions?
what would they be wearing them on?

They may have started out as collars then discarded for a different design and then became association badges ?? As JC say's in his book they were known to exit . As they are the same design as the Cap/hat badge .
