The very first one is an arm badge for the 2nd Cadet Battalion of the West Yorkshire Regiment (there are similar ones for the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, Duke of Wellington's Regiment and York & Lancaster Regiment). The badge dates from the 1950s and falls into two of my specific collecting areas if you wish to dispose of it ?

Second badge No 4 Independant company ( Commandos ) genuine ones should be round and at one time an example held the record for the most expensive cloth badge at that time.

Whist I was replying Blackpowder had already posted his reply. Attached is a picture of a slightly more accurate copy.
Here is a little tale: many years ago a former member of N0 4 Independant Company visited me to see my collection,when discussing the sign he told me that some time before he had been contacted by someone doing some research who was trying to find if this sign had actually been worn, he ( my visitor ) replied to the researcher by saying he was enclosing the sign that he had actually worn for his retention !!!! I wonder where the theory that only 4 genuine examples exist comes from ? P.B.

Hi there are more 4 genuine examples exist i have 2 i got in liverpool 20 year a go and i no of anther 5 in collections so there got to be more out there
