Well spotted.

For the initiated, a Wyvern has only one set of forward legs, unlike other ‘mythical’ beasts.

There are/were a number of Wyvern Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Comprehensive Schools, Colleges and Academies around the UK that use the mythical beast in their logos and badges.

A Wyvern as already mentioned - a dragon with two legs. A Griffon is a lion's body with an eagle's head, wings and front claws.
