Default Unknown Victorian Button

Hi,

I found this in a field with a few general service buttons. I's in pretty bad shape but any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Makers Mark is Firmin and Co London.

Can you show an image with more light along the bottom half?

I think there may be something written along the lower portion, although not legible, it may help narrow it down as I have a few ideas.

Cheers,

Roy

I was thinking that the crown is the "big eared" Victorian crown, pending a clean up which may reveal further detail the button appears to be a Victorian Scots Guards one?

I'd go with Scots Guards.

Here's a closeup of the crown. If anyone has any tips on restoring badly corroded buttons I'm open to suggestions.
