Hi ,
It's real , certainly a scarcer variant with blades ...these bladed eagles are usually seen with ATA cap badges etc , but I am sure we're used on occassion as standard RAF insignia. Just my take on them and I am sure others will comment .
Crown may or may not be an add on..haven't seen a pin back like this for crown

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve thanks for your comments, Crown was with it and matches the Eagle, I haven't seen the pins like this before, "Twinkles when it catches the light"

Have you by chance a picture of an A.T.A. similar for comparison?

( could you P.M. me what it may be worth, want to offset what I paid for the stuff last night! )

Many thanks for the help, billy
