Hi Chris,
This Marples & Beasley badge actually looks more like the old gold Ulster Defence Regt cap badge but in silver? I don't know if this is a Royal Irish badge or not now, or just a manufacturers cock up! Anyway I have posted a pic so you can see for yourself. There is a gold U.D.R badge on the left, the silver Marples & Beasley a/a badge is in the centre & for comparison a Royal Irish Regt badge is on the right. Best Regards UKbrits |
