Old ? French, 1 Free French..

I have "re-discovered" these 4 badges that I had in storage for the past 30 years or so.

One appears to have the Free French "cross" and 2 are marked with Drago Paris and DEPOSE. The GRDI scan simply has DEPOSE. And the 143 "Rooster" doesn't have any markings that I can see.

The coloured portions of the badges are all enamel as near as I can tell.

Any thoughts on their vintage or other possible identification avenues are welcome.

EDIT 2: I had "assumed" that the 143 "Rooster" was French. A fellow Canuck posted that it is collar dog for a Canadian WWI CEF unit - 143 Bn CEF British Columbia Bantams. Wow, my "assumption" was way off base.

These appear to be French "insignes de tradition". I am not sure when they came into use - some certainly did in the 1930's. I am no expert and thus cannot even begin to hazard a date for these.

GRDI = groupes de reconnaissance de division d’infanterie , (Literally "A reconnaisance group of an Infantry Division). The 33rd was assigned to the 45 Infantry Division in 1940.

The one on the left would be the 51st marine marchinegun battalion WW11 vintage nice piece. The other 52 battery divisional artilary les loupes THE WOLVES

I try to give you some piece of information

As you daid about the markings, they seems to be WWII badges (1939-1940)

the fist one is : 51st RMIC regiment de mitrailleurs coloniaux colonial mahine gunners It was an inity of the maginot line in the defensive sector of the Sarre

33 GRDI is a cavalry reconnaisssance unity
i haven't any information about it
and the third is an Artillery regiment

If you didn't know what to do with theses badges, out them in my basket (private joke but not really )

Is the third one not the 52nd Divisional Artillery Regiment? In 1940, it was the 52nd Mixed Divisional Artillery Regiment, equipped with 75mm and 155mm. It was the divisional artillery regiment of 62nd Infantry Division, part of the B Reserve.
